Patsy and Catherine, your guides, are delighted to share the gems of their native region with you.Their personal, carefully created 14 day tour of Brittany and Normandy takes you to beautiful villages, famous highlights, local food and produce experiences, and off the beaten track locations.

D​ream away at picturesque harbour sites like Honfleur,  beautiful seaside towns like Deauville and Saint Malo, spend a day with the locals, visit the famous Unesco heritage site of Mont Saint Michel, admire the gardens of impressionist painter Monet and much more!

TOUR ITINERARY

  • Day One & Two: Versailles

    Meet at the hotel in Versailles where we stay for 2 nights. The first day we explore the town. We visit the Historic Chateau de Versailles on the second day.

    We stay in a lovely boutique hotel in Versailles.

  • Day Three: Monet Gardens

    We visit the House and Garden of impressionist painter Claude Monet. After lunch we drive to Deauville, to see the Belle Epoque Beach villas, grand beachside Hotels and casino during an afternoon beach stroll.

  • Day Four: Honfleur

    Visit Honfleur, a little port town on the Normandy coast. Explore the town, relax with a glass of wine, try some Calvados or enjoy the shops.

  • Day Five: Bayeux

    Visit of Bayeux, famous for the medieval Bayeux Tapestry. Visit the American cemetery in Colville sur mer and the “Omaha’ D-Day landing beach".

    We stay in Pontorson.

  • Day Six: Mont St Michel

    Magical Mont St Michel, an island commune on the UNESCO list of World Heritage sites. Wander through the tiny streets and climb up to the abbey, a must do!

    In the afternoon we drive towards Combourg via Dol de Bretagne and explore beautiful villages in this part of Brittany.

  • Day Seven: Saint Malo

    We drive to the walled city of St Malo, the home of pirates, with its secret hiding holes and passages. We have a day of exploring the intra muros of St Malo.

    Free afternoon at this gorgeous beach town, walk, swim, relax at the beach.

    We stay in Saint Malo on the beach.

  • Day Eight: Treguier

    We have an exciting drive via le barrage de la Rance and follow the coast via St Briac sur Mer. We stop and explore Treguier, continue the road to Plougrescant.

    We stay in Perros Guirec.

  • Day Nine: Perros-Guirec

    Perros Guirec is surrounded by fishing villages, sailing boats and houses perched on cliffs. Best known for its majestic Pink Granite Coast, pristine beach with huge boulders. Stay in Perros Guirec.

    In the afternoon, we take a cruise around “les 7 Isles” to spot puffins, seals, dolphins and gannets.

  • Day Ten: Concarneau

    The walled town of Concarneau, embedded in its fortifications, and one of the most beautiful bays in Brittany. Walk the narrow streets, its fishing port and beaches.

    We stay in Concarneau on the beach.

  • Day Eleven: Pont Aven

    Pont-Aven is a small village known for its striking beauty, Breton traditions and for having served as a haven for legendary artists, most notably the post-impressionist, Paul Gauguin. Explore and enjoy.

  • Day Twelve: La Gacilly

    La Gacilly is a little town with great surprises. The pretty flower-decorated streets are popular for their old houses and artisans who have settled here. Known for its photography festival with huge displays on the façades.

    We stay in Bruz.

  • Day Thirteen: Local Surprise Day

    Today is a day spent at and with the locals in la Chutelais. A day full of surprises!

  • Day Fourteen: Bruz - Paris

    After a delicious breakfast we start making our way back to Paris. Today we have quite a bit of driving to do.

    End of a great historic cultural tour from Normandy to Brittany, we say ‘Kenavo” which is “Au revoir” in Breton and drop you off at Charles De Gaulle Airport.
