Price & confirmation

A non-refundable deposit payment of $2000 for each tour and $900 for the Paris Stay, confirms your booking and acknowledges your agreement to our terms and conditions. Tour quoted prices are in NZ dollars and are based on current costs (June 2023). Prices are subject to change without notice, due to matters outside our control, such as adverse currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges and taxes - if there is a change in tour costs, (once the deposit has been paid) you will be notified in writing. We require reservations as soon as possible. Early reservation and payment of deposit will ensure confirmation of inclusion on tour. For these prices to be maintained, we require fully booked tours.

Balance

The balance is due 90 days before the tour starts. If the full price is not received by this date, we reserve the right to cancel your participation and retain the deposit. Bookings can be made within 90 days provided full (100%) payment is made at time of booking. Boutique Tours France (BTF) is not responsible for any other expenses you may have incurred before or after the BTF tours, this includes transport or accommodation due to travel disruptions, visa, or passport issues. (Please check your passport today as there could be delays with renewing passports).

Cancellation policy

For bookings cancelled, regardless of the reason of cancellation, more than 90 days prior to the start of the tour, BTF will retain the non-refundable deposit of $2,000. Bookings cancelled, regardless of the reason of cancellation, 90 days or less prior to the start of the tour, there will be no refund (travel insurance is compulsory). In the event BTF cancels the tour or the Paris Stay should the minimum number of guests not be reached; you will receive a full refund.

​BTF reserves the right to adapt, modify or change the itinerary or part of it, to enhance the quality of the tour and the customer’s experience.

BTF reserves the right to adapt, modify or change the itinerary or part of it due to conditions beyond our control.

BTF reserves the right to pass on extra costs incurred by delays or events beyond our control. These extra costs will be charged to the client.

The itineraries proposed and published should be taken as a guide only. Participants agree that BTF shall not be liable for any delay, mishap, inconvenience, expense, bodily injury or death or loss or damage to property occasioned through the acts, negligence or defaults of any company or individual engaged in providing services to BTF.

BTF shall not be liable directly or indirectly, for any injury, death or damage for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to: acts of god, detention, war, quarantine, epidemic, pandemic, weather, terrorism, civil disturbance, strike, changes in government regulations, airline or other travel operations.

Travel Insurance

Travel Insurance is compulsory at the time of your booking. A copy of your travel insurance documents will need to be provided when booking for a tour. Travel insurance can be organised via our travel agent.

Passport and Visa Requirements

Prior to confirming your travel arrangements, you should check your passport is valid for three months beyond the length of your stay. New Zealand passport holders can spend up to three months visa-free in France.

Fitness

The best way to experience the stunning regions of Normandy - Brittany and Provence is by walking. In Normandy-Brittany, we wander the beautiful, cobbled villages, picturesque harbours, and sandy beaches of St Malo. Old villages and city walls have steps to climb, there will be uneven coastal pathways and beaches. In Provence we visit Pont Du Gard, and Baux de Provence which is a car free village. On both tours there is walking involved so make sure this will not be an issue for you. Please read the tour itinerary to understand the style of our tours.
